We Care Crusade
So by now you’ve heard of our awesome founder and CEO, Debbie Medina Gach. In fact, if you’ve stopped in to grab a bottle of Señor Rio lately, it’s likely you’ve seen her and some of Total Wine & More displays they have up featuring her story! Well, what you may not know is that last year Debbie founded her first 501(c)3 charitable foundation known as We Care Crusade. Being the proud grandmother of six with two identical twin granddaughters born with a rare disorder Angelman syndrome, Debbie knew she wanted to help, and dedicates WCC to her granddaughters Katalina and Klaudia setting out to create a foundation which helps special needs children and their families with support.The foundation is designed specifically to offer assistance to these families who love and care for these special children.
Past, Present, and Future!
While We Care Crusade is the latest in Debbie’s quest to help the less fortunate, it certainly isn’t the first! Prior to forming We Care Crusade, Debbie has partnered up with various charities in the Phoenix area. Just to name a few, Debbie has also run partnerships with St. Judes hospital and St. Mary’s food bank in order to help raise money for their charities. In fact, She recently was able to raise enough funds to donate over 45,000 meals to those who needed it! What’s equally impressive about this is that it was all generated with help from you, our loyal customers! By simply donating $1 per bottle of Señor Rio sold, Debbie and St. Mary’s was able to accomplish that amazing goal.
So what’s the plan going forward?
You keep doing your thing, and we’ll keep doing ours! That’s right, as long as you continue to be the loyal customer base we know and love and buy our award winning tequila, you’re helping us help others with the various charitable endeavors we’re focused on.
